The Speed Tuned XC-D double wall rim has extra thick walls, to create a rim that is light enough for XC riding, but strong enough for more. The rim joint is pinned with a 17mm inner, 23.5mm outer,with a 17.8mm tall profile height.  These rims are extra strong, strong enough for All Mountain riding.  The rim has a schrader valve hole, but comes with a plastic presta insert, so it works with both valve types.  This rim is Not tubeless ready.  The Shimano TX506 quick release MTB 6-bolt disc hubs have a loose ball bearing, cup and cone system that is known the world over.  The front hub has a 9mm axle x 100mm OLD, the rear hub has a 10mm axle x135mm OLD. The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes.  They are built up with quality Black Spokes and chrome plated Brass Nipples.
