AD-990's have changed over the years - so there are two different kinds of caliper arms. Some AD-990's have BOTH arms have the knarp holders on the ends while others have one arm with a knarp holder and the other with a hole for a cable anchor bolt.\n\nAs of Aug 11th, 2014, we have updated this kit to include the pivoting barrel adjuster so that EITHER TYPE CAN BE CONVERTED using this kit.\n\nWe do not provide technical support with our products - it is always recommended that all parts we sell be installed by a professional bicycle mechanic.
