Reference Number: 5CD9TX
Upgrade your mountain biking setup with the SunRingle Envy Rear Rim-designed for durability, performance, and style. This high-quality 20-inch, 32-hole rear rim is the perfect choice for riders seeking an aftermarket upgrade or replacement that combines innovative engineering with reliable construction.
Materials & Construction:
Crafted from premium aluminum, the SunRingle Envy Rim offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring a lightweight yet robust component for aggressive trail riding and technical terrain. The triple pocket aluminum design enhances vertical compliance and strength, while the welded seam provides superior structural integrity and a clean finish. Machined sidewalls (particularly on the rear) enhance brake pad contact for improved modulation and control, making this rim compatible with rim braking systems.
Performance & Engineering:
Weighing in at just 392 grams, the Envy Rim delivers agility and responsiveness without compromising durability. The rim features a 390mm ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) for optimized spoke tension and wheel stability. With a width of 23.5mm and an 18.3mm wheel depth, this rim strikes an excellent balance between strength and weight, providing excellent support for wider tires and modern wheel setups.
Components & Technology:
Nickel-plated brass eyelets reinforce spoke-hole durability, reducing stress risers and extending rim lifespan during rigorous rides. The rim's non-tubeless design simplifies setup, ideal for riders preferring traditional tubed setups or those looking to upgrade their existing wheels. Its precise engineering ensures consistent performance across varied trail conditions.
Style & Use Case:
Finished in sleek black, the SunRingle Envy Rim complements any bike aesthetic-from aggressive trail builds to all-mountain rigs. Its versatile design makes it suitable for hardcore trail riding, enduro, or a hard-wearing rear wheel upgrade. Whether you're tackling rocky descents, technical climbs, or daily commuting, this rim offers reliability and style.
