4" x 4" Fluid Bed w/PUMP)

The 4" X 4" Fluid Bed does not have a removable powder paint cup. These fluid beds can be reused by changing your powder paint as many times as you want just by emptying out the existing powder and then cleaning your cup with a vacuum and paper towels and replace with your new chosen powder color. The membrane will be stained but wont effect the next color of powder.

DON'T USE WATER because the water will get trapped in the membrane and will take a while to dry out.
If you would like extra bases for other powder colors, We do offer extra 4" X 4" bases only for purchase.

The base is 3D printed with felt feet

The purpose of the fluid bed is to fluidize the powder paint to give your jigs or spinner blades a thinner, more even coat of paint. This will also save time and money by using less paint. In the final curing process using a thinner coat of paint means less chances of drips forming. This lower density is what allows a consistent uniform and smooth coating.

Our 4" x 4" bed has inside dimensions of 4” width and 4" length and with an inside depth of 2 3/8” . 

Our fluidizing membrane is made of high density porous polyethylene 1/8” thick which is permanently glued to the cups.

Air pump brands will vary depending on availability

Each of the powder paints have a slightly different characteristics based on their color. And some paints will actually fluidize better than others.
