Purpose & Application: Specifically developed for removing 4-notch freewheels found on BMX bikes. It also works with standard single-speed freewheels (1.37" x 24 TPI); to be used with a 1-inch hex base that can be used with M24 sockets, wrenches, or a bench vise. The thin-wall design eliminates the need to disassemble the cone and locknut before removal.
Safety & Operation: For safe and effective use, the tool must be securely fastened to the hub using either the stock wheel shaft nut or a fast-release skewer. This prevents it from slipping and damaging the tool or freewheel during the high-torque removal process.
