How to Patch Your Bike Tube

1. Locate the puncture on the inner tube (submerge in water to look for bubbles if necessary).
2. Use the metal rasp/metal file to roughen and clean the area around the hole so it is slightly larger than the patch.
3. Apply a thin, even layer of rubber cement/glue over the scuffed area and wait about 1–2 minutes until it becomes tacky.
4. Peel the backing off the rubber patch and press it firmly over the puncture from the center outward.
5. Hold firm pressure for 1–2 minutes before reinstalling the tube and inflating your tire.
