One inch diameter, six inches long. Guaranteed to get globs of hot molten metal when used with one of my handcrafted ferrocerium rod strikers. Use any piece of metal with a sharp 90 degree angle or the back of your knife if it has a sharp 90 degree angle, to get sparks and light your tinder to build your fire. If you have never used a ferro rod before, practice lighting cotton balls. Use diferrent tinders from your area to see what works best for you. Fatwood is one of my favorite tinders.
