Hardened, and treated; instead of a coating or plating that can "flake off", we thoroughly treated the metal to ensure increased resistance to corrosion and to prevent wear. 

Tolerances are held incredibly tight that allows for consistent firing pin strikes that will withstand the test of time, no reshaping necessary. 

Works with all variations of CZ 457 Bolt Action Rimfires, and all calibers.

This part works very well with Volquartsen VF457EE Extractor and Holder set, which can also be found in our store. Replaces CZ factory part 5080066001.
