Gamebird Catch Net

Mounts on your aluminum dip net. Designed for an 18" round aluminum frame but will fit from 16" to 19-1/2" round or irregular shaped dip nets. A gentleman e-mailed me recently that he was able to get the net on a 19 1/2" x 22" frame. The aluminum frame is not included. It will fit most existing fish dip net frames, or you can buy one from Walmart for about $10.

Manufactured by the J.A. Cissel Mfg. Co. proud American workers with 40+ years of experience making gamebird netting.

I used fish dip nets for catching game fowl for years, and usually the bird would get tangled up in the net. I have even had to cut the net to free the bird. This net is designed specifically for catching birds. After catching the bird, give the handle a 90 degree turn to trap the bird, then reach your hand in and retrieve the bird without having to untangle it from the netting, or just move the bird to a different pen turn the handle back 90 degrees let the net down to the ground and the bird will walk free. Bruce Jones

Size: Fits 16" to 19-1/2" diameter

Material: Nylon

Useful for:

Catching game fowl, chicken, pheasant, gamebirds, and quail.

Also good for catching minnows and crawdads out of a creek.

Catching small fish and critters in the ocean.

Compare Price: Most bird catch nets I see advertised for around $45 to $70 + $15 to $20 shipping. This replacement net saves you money because it fits on the aluminum frame you probably already have. I tried out the gamebird catch net like randallburkey.com sells for 69.99 + 16.05 shipping to me. I didn't like it because the netting was stiff, wasn't deep enough to trap the bird, and it is also imported. The catch net you see advertised here is the best I have tried.
