Details: Flents Quiet Contour Foam Ear Plugs are a high-noise-reduction (NRR 33), contoured “hourglass” style foam earplug designed to muffle (not completely eliminate) sound, making them a popular choice for sleeping (including with a snoring partner), studying, travel/airplanes, concerts, and loud everyday environments. They’re latex-free and made from polyurethane foam, and most people with medium-to-large ear canals find the contoured shape especially comfortable for overnight wear and side sleeping, but if you have smaller ears they may feel too big, fail to seal, or slip out. For best results, insertion technique is key: roll tightly into a thin cylinder, pull the top of your ear up and out to straighten the canal, insert fairly deep, then hold for 15–20 seconds while the foam expands to form a snug seal, this is usually the difference between “works great” and “doesn’t block much.” Expect strong noise reduction for steady sounds (snoring, fans, traffic), and you’ll typically still hear important alerts like alarms (often at a lower volume). A few practical notes from real-world use: some containers may have a noticeable initial odor—air them out in a ventilated area for 24–48 hours if needed; foam density can vary a bit from plug to plug; they’re intended to be disposable, though many people reuse a pair for 1–5 uses (sometimes longer) until it no longer compresses/expands well; and they shouldn’t be used when wet or in water, since moisture changes how the foam performs. If you’re choosing between package sizes, keep in mind that bulk packs may feel slightly different to some users and typically don’t include a carrying case, while smaller packs are more travel-friendly.
