Rio DirectCore Tarpon WF10F - Floating Fly Line

Color: Sea Grass (Head)/Orange/Tan

SRP: $119.95

THE VERY BEST TARPON LINE ON THE MARKET with low-stretch, low-memory performance.  (Great line for Permit, Jacks, Redfish and other inshore species as well!)

RIO’S DIRECTCORE TARPON lines feature short, powerful front tapers to easily cast large flies, and a long back taper for stable casts at range, quick pickups, and 2nd shot casts to moving fish. Each line is built on RIO’s low-memory DirectCore that is extremely easy to stretch and lies perfectly straight on the water, yet retains the stiffness needed to cast in hot conditions.

  • Effortless casting, accurate line design that turns over typical tarpon flies with ease
  • Long back taper for fast, 2nd shot casts
  • Easy to straighten, low-memory core that lays true on the water
  • Hard, tropical coating will not wilt in the heat
  • Color = Sea Grass/Orange/Sand
  • High floating running line that will not sink and impede the cast
  •  AgentX and Extreme Slickness
  •  75 - 100 degrees F (24 - 38 C)
  •  SureFire triplecolor, distance-marking technology
  •  EasyID and Front Loop & Back Loop

The DirectCore Tarpon line has a mid-length head of around 40ft and is an ideal all-around Tarpon as well as Permit, Redfish, Jack, etc. saltwater fly line
