“Flattest” and “no recoil” describe the video presentation and are not a guarantee of firearm performance. All firearms produce recoil, and results depend on the complete build, ammunition, shooter, and testing conditions.

3.1" P365 / P365X Fitment at a Glance

Important: This Is the Short 3.1" Recoil System

This auction is specifically for the shorter P365 / P365X 3.1"-length recoil system. It is the correct recoil-system length for compatible builds using a 3.1" P365 / P365X slide and the Radian RAMJET + AFTERBURNER made for that compact platform.

It is NOT the longer 3.7" P365XL / XMACRO RAMJET recoil system and it is NOT the P365-FUSE 4.3" recoil system.

Purpose-Selected for Compact Radian RAMJET Builds

The Heritage Performance Recoil System was selected for compact 3.1" P365 / P365X performance builds, especially Radian RAMJET + AFTERBURNER configurations where redirected gas helps manage muzzle movement.

Compensators and ported slides use escaping gas to help control muzzle rise. A reduced-power recoil configuration can help tune slide movement in builds that benefit from a lighter spring rate when paired with appropriate ammunition and a properly functioning complete assembly.

Why the -15% Setup?

This configuration uses a -15% performance recoil spring setup, making it lighter than the standard factory-equivalent configuration. It is a purpose-selected tuning option for many compact builds using a compensator, porting, optic, or other performance-oriented slide configuration.

A lighter recoil spring is not automatically better for every pistol. Slide mass, ammunition, optic weight, compensator efficiency, cleanliness, lubrication, and break-in all affect cycling. This assembly should be treated as a tuning component and verified in the complete build.

New-Build and Break-In Guidance

For a brand-new or especially tight 3.1" RAMJET build, an OEM-weight recoil system can be the preferred reliability baseline during initial assembly and break-in. The Heritage -15% system is intended as a reduced-power tuning option when the complete build benefits from that spring rate.

Follow all component-manufacturer instructions and thoroughly function-test the firearm after any recoil-system change. Confirm reliable feeding, extraction, ejection, return to battery, and slide lock with the exact ammunition and magazine configuration you intend to use.
