Large Surface Topwater Fishing Lures - Heavy-Duty Saltwater Baits for Striped Bass & Predatory Fish

The Doc Topwater Lures are oversized walk-the-dog style plugs built to imitate large baitfish and draw aggressive surface strikes from striped bass and other predatory gamefish. A wide, side-to-side swimming action creates substantial surface disturbance and visibility, while an internal rattle adds sound to help attract fish from a distance. The floating design allows the lure to be paused during the retrieve, providing another opportunity for following fish to strike.

A longtime favorite among East Coast striped bass anglers, the Doc is particularly effective when fish are feeding on larger forage or when a substantial surface presentation is needed to draw attention. Heavy-duty stainless steel hardware provides durability for saltwater fishing, while 4/0 VMC Perma Steel treble hooks supply the strength needed to handle powerful fish.
