The Sure-Life Better Bait Minnow Holding Formula is a complete, professional-grade water conditioner explicitly designed for keeping soft-scaled baitfish—such as Fathead and Missouri minnows, shiners, chubs, and shad—alive, healthy, and frisky. Offered in a massive bulk bucket perfect for commercial bait shops, large fish hatcheries, and transport trucks, this formula instantly removes harmful chlorine and heavy metals from tap water, making it safe for live bait without any wait time. Developed by microbiologists, Better Bait goes beyond basic dechlorination by adding beneficial electrolytes to strengthen the metabolism of your bait, while simultaneously reducing fungus and bacteria and stimulating the fish's natural slime coat to drastically reduce stress. The dark blue granular crystals readily dissolve in water, leaving a clear, light blue tint. It is fully compatible with all modern oxygenating systems and is an absolute must-have for large holding vats, raceways, transportation tanks, and heavy-duty commercial bait wells to lower bait losses and increase overall profitability and performance.
Features:
Complete Water Conditioning: Instantly removes chlorine and heavy metals from standard city tap water, making it immediately safe to add baitfish without the need to age the water.
Health & Vitality Boost: Infused with essential electrolytes to strengthen baitfish metabolism and stimulate a protective, natural slime coating for maximum stress reduction.
Disease Prevention: Specifically formulated to effectively reduce fungus and bacteria, helping prevent the rapid spread of illness in crowded commercial holding vats and raceways.
Instant Dissolve Formula: The dark blue granular formulation dissolves rapidly into the water leaving a clear blue tint, keeping bait lively and frisky from the farm to the hook.
Broad Compatibility: 100% safe to use alongside all modern aeration and oxygenating systems, including standard bubblers and pure oxygen setups.
