EXO+ is an upgraded puncture protection system that combines the lightweight EXO sidewall protection with an additional reinforced layer for improved resistance against cuts, abrasions, and pinch flats. It offers a balance of durability, support, and rolling efficiency for aggressive trail and downcountry riding.

3C MaxxTerra

3C MaxxTerra is a balanced triple-compound rubber designed for mountain bike tires that require both speed and control. It offers more grip and a softer feel than 3C MaxxSpeed, while still delivering better rolling efficiency and longer tread life compared to the ultra-soft MaxxGrip compound.
Tubeless Ready

Tubeless Ready tires allow riders to run lower tire pressures for better traction and comfort while also reducing rolling resistance compared to traditional tube setups. Without an inner tube, the risk of pinch flats is also greatly reduced. Maxxis recommends using liquid sealant only with tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready tires, as using sealant in non-compatible tires may void the warranty.
