Maxxis Rekon Race 29x2.35 Tubeless Tire - Ultimate Performance for Cross-Country & Trail Riding
Elevate your mountain biking experience with the Maxxis Rekon Race 29x2.35 Tubeless Tire, engineered for speed, grip, and durability on rugged trails and competitive XC courses. Designed with advanced materials and cutting-edge technology, this tire offers a perfect blend of lightweight performance and tough protection.
Materials & Construction:
Constructed with premium rubber compounds and reinforced sidewalls featuring Maxxis' proprietary EXO Protection, this tire provides enhanced puncture resistance against sidewall abrasions and trail hazards. The durable, high-traction rubber compound ensures longevity and consistent grip ride after ride.
Performance & Engineering:
Built for competitive cross-country and trail enthusiasts, the Rekon Race combines a semi-slick tread pattern inspired by its trail counterpart, but with smaller, shorter knobs for reduced rolling resistance. The Dual Compound (DC) tread optimizes speed and cornering traction, with a firm center for lower rolling resistance and softer shoulders for superior grip during aggressive turns. The tubeless-ready (TR) design allows for easy setup and reliable sealant retention, minimizing flats and improving ride quality.
Components & Technology:
- DC (Dual Compound) Rubber for optimized balance between rolling efficiency and corner grip
- EXO Protection sidewalls for puncture resistance and sidewall durability
- Tubeless Ready (TR) for a seamless tubeless setup, reducing weight and preventing flats
- Designed for 29-inch wheel compatibility with an ISO diameter of 622
Style & Use Case:
Featuring a sleek black-on-black aesthetic, the Rekon Race 29x2.35 tires are ideal for XC racers, trail riders, and mountain bikers seeking maximum speed and agility. Whether descending technical trails or powering across open XC courses, these tires deliver exceptional performance and confidence in a variety of weather conditions.
Innovative Features:
- Semi-slick tread design borrowed from Maxxis' trail tires for minimal rolling resistance and fast rolling
- Smaller knobs improve speed without sacrificing control
- Proven Maxxis technology for enhanced puncture protection and reliability in aggressive off-road environments
Upgrade your mountain bike with the Maxxis Rekon Race 29x2.35 Tubeless Tire - the perfect choice for riders demanding lightweight, advanced engineering, and superior grip on every trail. Optimize your performance and conquer technical terrain with confidence.
- High-performance 29x2.35 tubeless mountain bike tire designed for competitive XC and trail riding, offering optimal traction and speed.
- Constructed with durable materials including Maxxis' EXO sidewall protection to resist cuts, abrasions, and sidewall punctures in rough terrain.
- Featuring Dual Compound (DC) technology, this tire balances a low rolling resistance center with high-traction shoulder knobs, enhancing speed on descents and efficiency on climbs.
- Engineered with a semi-slick, trail-inspired tread pattern that provides a smooth roll on hardpack surfaces while maintaining cornering grip for technical trails.
