The Andrus Parachute Jig is a time-tested trolling lure that has earned its reputation as one of the most effective presentations for striped bass and other coastal gamefish. Designed to create a lifelike, pulsing swimming action, this classic parachute-style jig features long synthetic hair that flares and breathes in the water, closely imitating a fleeing baitfish. Its proven design excels when trolled and is especially popular among anglers targeting striped bass, bluefish, and cobia.
Built with a durable rear swing hook, the Andrus Parachute Jig provides solid hook-up ratios while maintaining a natural presentation. For added attraction, anglers can tip the hook with pork rind or a synthetic trailer to increase profile and action. Available in multiple sizes and color combinations, this legendary trolling jig remains a staple in the tackle boxes of serious saltwater anglers.
