The Shimano Deore XT M8100 rear brake combines the BL-M8100 lever with the BR-M8100 2-piston caliper for powerful, controlled braking across XC, trail, and general mountain bike use.

The BL-M8100 lever uses Shimano’s Servo Wave Action for quick pad engagement and a responsive lever feel. Its reinforced lever-body design improves support under hard braking, while tool-free reach adjustment allows the rider to fine-tune lever position.

This rear brake is supplied pre-bled with Shimano mineral oil, a 1700mm hydraulic hose, and metallic finned brake pads for dependable braking and improved heat management.
