While other recoil pads simply create a buffer between you and the recoil, ShockEater works at a molecular level to absorb and dissipate the energy.
When moved slowly, the molecules within the ShockEater polymer just slide past each other, making the material flexible and conformal. When a high-energy impact occurs, (like a shotgun kick) the molecules lock together to dissipate the recoil impact and absorb the energy within the material.
