The AFTCO Small Dehooker is designed to make catch-and-release fishing safer and more efficient by allowing anglers to remove hooks while keeping fish in the water. The fixed-head push-and-pull design quickly dislodges hooks from a safe distance, reducing handling time and minimizing stress on the fish. It is an ideal tool for releasing fish caught on live bait or artificial lures while promoting healthy releases.
Built for dependable performance in saltwater environments, the Dehooker features a durable stainless steel hook with a corrosion-resistant anodized gold finish. Its lightweight aluminum shaft and comfortable EVA handle provide a secure, non-slip grip, making it easy to use even in wet conditions. The extended design also helps improve safety when handling toothy fish and other challenging species.
