KVP thread adapters are great for use with direct thread suppressors. Normally you would need to swap the direct thread adapter on your suppressor to use it on different calibers, or use expensive muzzle devices and specific suppressor adapters, if that's even a possibility. The KVP adapter fits between the two, offering an economical solution to adapt your suppressor or muzzle device to many different barrels!
KVP adapters convert BARREL thread pitches "to" desired MUZZLE device thread pitches. For example, 1/2x28 (barrel thread) to 1/2x36 (muzzle device/suppressor thread), converts a barrel threaded 1/2x28 to 1/2x36 for installation of corresponding muzzle devices or suppressors.
Not intended for applications larger than 9mm diameter projectiles.
