Unbreakable 40-Inch Wooden Practice Sword - Handmade Combat Bokken

This listing is for a handmade 40-inch daito bokken. This item is hand crafted from cumaru, hand sanded, and treated with a double coat of tung oil for added reinforcement of the wood. This bokken is crafted from cumber wood, which has a Janka hardness in the range of 3,200 to 3,500 lbf (pound force). This thing is sturdy and can stand up to just about anything you can throw at it.

This bokken is not meant to be pretty. It is intended to stand up to striking and impact training. If you're looking for something pretty that will snap when you actually use it, this bokken is not for you. THIS IS NOT A WALL HANGER PIECE. As with all the wasters and bokken sold in my shop, this is designed and intended for use in combat training and is capable of withstanding impacts from striking practice. If you're looking for something pretty that will snap the first time you actually use it, this is not for you. All of my wasters and bokken are GUARANTEED. If it breaks when it shouldn't, I will replace it at no charge (this does not mean I will replace it if you swing it into a hard or unpadded stationary object like a telephone pole). I supply wasters to Buhurt, HEMA, SCA, and armored combat fighters, and all of my designs have been impact tested under rigorous conditions.

This particular bokken comes with a 5 YEAR NO-BREAK GUARANTEE. If it breaks under normal use within 5 years, I will replace it for free. Honestly, it will probably last forever under normal use. This is the first and only bokken I have made from cumaru wood. If it sells, I will make more.
