Product Overview

This Winchester factory magazine is designed for the Winchester Wildcat .22 Long Rifle. It uses the Wildcat's detachable rotary magazine design and provides a factory capacity of 10 cartridges.

Winchester designed the Wildcat magazine with a torsion-drive spring and follower system. The factory magazine also incorporates features designed specifically around the Wildcat rifle, including metal feed lips, a follower wheel for easier loading and unloading, and activation of the rifle's last-round bolt hold-open system.

Key Features
  • Winchester factory Wildcat rifle magazine
  • Designed for .22 Long Rifle / .22 LR
  • 10-round factory capacity
  • Detachable rotary magazine design
  • Torsion-drive spring and follower system
  • Metal feed lips
  • Follower wheel assists with loading and unloading
  • Designed to activate the Wildcat rifle's last-round bolt hold-open system

Speed Load / Unload Design

The Wildcat magazine features a follower wheel located on the magazine. Rotating the follower wheel allows spring pressure on the cartridges to be relieved during loading and unloading.

This design allows cartridges to be inserted and removed while manually controlling follower spring pressure.

Last-Round Bolt Hold Open
When a factory Winchester Wildcat magazine is used in the Wildcat rifle, the rifle is designed for the bolt to remain open after the final cartridge has been fired.
